| 6 | Before you can start with the build process, you need to install some tools:

| 8 | perl, patch, gzip, bzip2, flex, bison, make, tar, unzip, sed; what is usually

| 9 | known as build-essential package (gcc, g++, binutils, glibc-dev); pkgconf (or

| 10 | its antecessor pkg-config), and the zlib and ncurses headers (usually called
|

| 11 | libz-dev, libncurses-dev). The framework checks for the required versions

| 12 | of these tools in advance, though (to re-issue the checks, use "make prereq").

| 14 | Please use "make menuconfig" to choose your Wireless router and configure like you

| 15 | want to.

| 17 | Simply running 'make' will build the firmware for your Wireless router. The

| 18 | buildsystem will download all sources, build the toolchain, the kernel and all
